Getaway Midwest offers two payment options: Pay in Full, where full payment is due at the time of booking; or Deposit, where a non-refundable deposit per ticket is due at the time of booking to reserve your seat. If paying a deposit, the remaining balance must be paid in full by July 28, 2026. Failure to pay the balance by the deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund of the deposit.
Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. Full payments are non-refundable after July 28, 2026. Prior to this date, a refund of the amount paid above the deposit may be issued upon written request. Reservations may be transferred to another person with prior written approval from Getaway Midwest. Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the trip date. The original purchaser remains responsible for any outstanding balance. Any additional costs resulting from a reservation transfer are the responsibility of the original and/or replacement traveler. All sales are final after the payment deadline. No refunds will be issued for unused tickets, missed pickups, or voluntary departure from the trip.
A minimum number of paying passengers is required for each trip to operate. Getaway Midwest also reserves the right to cancel a trip for operational, safety, or business reasons beyond minimum participation requirements. Getaway Midwest will make reasonable efforts to notify passengers of trip cancellation as soon as practicable. In the event of cancellation by Getaway Midwest, all passengers will receive a full refund, including any deposit paid. Getaway Midwest is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by passengers, including but not limited to hotel accommodations, transportation, or other travel expenses.
Getaway Midwest shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations due to acts of God, severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, public health emergencies, transportation disruptions, or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In such cases, Getaway Midwest will make reasonable efforts to notify passengers and, where possible, offer alternative arrangements.
All departure and arrival times are approximate and subject to change. Getaway Midwest reserves the right to modify the itinerary if necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers. The trip operates rain or shine.
Seating is generally open unless otherwise specified. Getaway Midwest reserves the right to reassign seats when necessary. Vehicle type, amenities, and seating configuration are subject to change without notice due to operational requirements.
All passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner toward fellow travelers, staff, and venue personnel. The following are strictly prohibited on the motorcoach and during all trip activities: alcoholic beverages and illegal substances; smoking, vaping, and the use of tobacco products; disruptive, abusive, threatening, or unsafe behavior; any behavior that interferes with the enjoyment or safety of other travelers. Participants are also expected to comply with the rules and policies of all venues, attractions, and transportation providers used during the trip. Getaway Midwest reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant whose behavior violates these standards, at any point during the trip, without refund. Passengers removed from a trip due to misconduct shall not be entitled to any refund or compensation.
Getaway Midwest is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Passengers are responsible for their own belongings at all times. Getaway Midwest, its contractors, transportation providers, and suppliers shall not be liable for delays, modifications, or cancellations caused by weather, traffic, road conditions, mechanical issues, strikes, government actions, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. No refunds or compensation will be provided for delays, schedule changes, or itinerary modifications caused by circumstances beyond Getaway Midwest's control. Participation in Getaway Midwest trips is at each passenger's own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Getaway Midwest's total liability to any passenger shall be limited to the amount paid by that passenger for the trip. Getaway Midwest shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in a trip, including but not limited to lost wages, missed connections, hotel expenses, or other costs incurred as a result of delays, cancellations, or itinerary changes.
Getaway Midwest trips are intended for passengers of the age noted on individual trip details. Passengers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian assumes full responsibility for the minor's conduct and safety throughout the trip.
Passengers are responsible for ensuring they are in suitable health to participate in the trip. Travelers are responsible for carrying any medications, medical devices, or mobility aids required during the trip. Getaway Midwest is not liable for any medical conditions, allergies, or health issues that arise during the trip. Participants may be asked to provide an emergency contact prior to departure.
By participating in a Getaway Midwest trip, passengers grant Getaway Midwest permission to use photographs and video captured during the trip for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes without compensation. Passengers who do not wish to appear in photographs or video should notify the tour leader prior to departure.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Iowa.
Getaway Midwest reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The terms in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your reservation.
